Chapters
Twenty-two geographical chapters located throughout the state give members the opportunity to participate at the local level and network with professionals in their area. Members may belong to a chapter or be a member-at-large.
Committees & Task Forces
Members serving on committees and task forces accomplish much of the work of the Society. Committees operate with specific objectives for programs and special activities. Task forces plan one or two specific events during the year and only meet when needed.

Volunteer Opportunities
Much of the work done by the Georgia Society of CPAs is accomplished by volunteers on committees, sections, task forces, and special volunteer programs. These groups provide a great opportunity for members to network with other professionals throughout the state, expand professional knowledge, and serve the accounting profession.

Educational Foundation
The Educational Foundation of the Georgia Society of CPAs was founded in 1957 to aid and advance education and research relating to the study, teaching, and practice of accountancy. The Foundation works to attract the best and the brightest students to the accounting profession by supporting programs in colleges and universities and awarding scholarships to students.

Leadership Academy
The Georgia Society of CPAs is proud to announce the establishment of the new leadership program modeled after the highly successful "Leadership Georgia". The purpose of this program is to provide advanced leadership training to emerging leaders in our profession.

Each year the Georgia Society of CPAs presents awards to members for outstanding service and dedication to the Society and the accounting profession. To nominate a member for one of these prestigious awards, complete the nomination form.
